Bhagavad Gītā 1.8

भवान्भीष्मश्च कर्णश्च कृपश्च समितिंजय: ।
अश्वत्थामा विकर्णश्च सौमदत्तिस्तथैव च ।।८।।

bhavān (sg. nom.) - You (reverential address)

bhīṣmaḥ (m. sg. nom.) - Bhīṣmaḥ, great uncle of the Pāṇḍavā
princes fighting against them

ca - And

karṇaḥ (m. sg. nom.) - Karṇaḥ, half brother of Pāṇḍavā princes fighting against them
कृपश्च समितिंजय:
kṛpaśca samitiṃjayaḥ
kṛpaḥ (m. sg. nom.) - Kṛpaḥ, a warrior fighting against the Pāṇḍavās

jayaḥ (m. sg. nom. adj.) - Victorious
samitiṃjayaḥ (m. sg. nom. adj.) - Entirely victorious in battle
अश्वत्थामा विकर्णश्च
aśvatthāmā vikarṇaśca
aśvatthāmā (m. sg. nom.) - Aśvatthāmā, an enemy of the Pāṇḍavās. Means “having the strength of a horse [aśva]”

vikarṇaḥ (m. sg. nom.) - Vikarṇaḥ, an enemy of the Pāṇḍavās. Means either “without ears” or “having wide ears” (vi + karṇa)

saumadattistathaiva ca
saumadattiḥ - Saumadattiḥ, son of Somadatta and an enemy of the Pāṇḍavās.
